Wah damn long never update. It's been one semester plus one winter holiday of non-updating. Oh it's also been one semester plus one winter holiday of worrying. But anyway, rather than wasting my last night in Singapore hand-partying, I've decided to blog. While waiting for my blog to load, I thought of changing the damn tag board to a C-Box, but miraculously, tag board is working again. Err. Woohoo!
Anyway isn't it damn weird if you blog knowing full well that your brother and sister know your blog address and your mum probably gets leads from the two pesky siblings?
Hi Tee! Hi Beeeeee! Hi ma! Hey Beeee I'm typing like you, with proper punctuation, and with too many smily faces (: Notice I use the left-handed smiley to be different (:
Anyway hor, it's been 5 weeks. During the middle of the 5 weeks it felt quite long, and there were times when I visited the state of depression that I found myself waking up in during Amherst. But I think I have concluded that a large part of that so-called 'depression' actually stems from boredom. Shit man, need to start working, need to SELF-ACTUALIZE.
5 weeks, on hindsight, went by very quickly. Only on hindsight la. Super gep hand.. I mean Super gep parties every week. Sometimes even twice a week at the Tengs playing SETTLERS OF CATAN and other inferior board games. Super gep movie outings almost every week.. the Queen, Stranger Than Fiction, Curse, Apocalypto. Many many mahjong rounds. Sometimes board games movies mahjong on consecutive days I think. Man I improved a lot at mahjong after playing with Kopi Tay, who's going to deny it. Watch out, I'm going to stare at your tiles and memorize what you have in your hand. I mean what you have HIDDEN in your hand.. ahhh. Hehehehe..
Anyway yesterday I went to Kino with KS.. and by yesterday I mean Monday and by KS I mean Kopi Tay. And together we managed to utilize 100% of my $30 vouchers from ACJC. At first we were quite perplexed, because after buying Romeo and Hamlet and Juliet and Mechanical Pencil we only had 30 cents left but there was only a 50 cent eraser in sight.. I mean 50 cent erasaur.. but thanks to the gods, five seconds later we saw a 30 cents erasaur. So with arms stretched wide open in victory we walked to the cashier, where I gladly proclaimed, 'I win'. 100% efficiency.
I should have donated the vouchers to a needy cause. Anyway I am having problems deciding on my classes. I am still attracted to the idea of the English major. Of course for purely superficial reasons, so I probably won't be doing it (hi ma!). But I'm giving up on Black Studies and music temporarily. I don't know if I ever will take Form in Tonal Music and write papers about sonatas and fugues and stuff (sorry couldn't resist the temptation to hao lian) or that big band writing/arranging class (sorry couldn't resist the temptation to hao lian) but for now it's econ and history and political science.
Anyway for those who didn't see my hair before I cut it.. naa.

I am purposely putting a damn fugly picture of myself la! Mind you this is five weeks before I came home for my biennial hair cut.. so you can imagine how much longer it was when I touched down in Singapore.. and how much fuglier. It looks nice now thanks to my $30 biennial haircut and I think I'll go cut tmrw to save some trouble in the States.
